Thugs WALK FREE After Brutal Attack on Elderly Victim…

A 77-year-old man suffered a broken arm, broken knee, and facial injuries after two attackers assaulted him on a Seattle street—yet both suspects remain free. One was released before his bail hearing, and the other was never arrested.

Vicious Attack Caught on Camera

Seattle police released surveillance footage from the Real Time Crime Center showing the April 19 assault at Pike Street downtown. The video captured two men approaching the elderly victim as he walked slowly toward them. Without provocation, they shoved him to the ground and repeatedly struck him before casually walking away. The victim remained hunched on the pavement, unable to rise, while bystanders passed without offering assistance.

Police arrested 29-year-old Ahmed Abdullahi Osman of Bellevue at a nearby McDonald’s shortly after the attack. The second suspect escaped and remains at large. According to the police report, the victim had just exited a bus when the assault occurred. He spent at least one week hospitalized recovering from his injuries.

Suspect Released Before Bail Hearing

Despite the severity of the attack and the victim’s extensive injuries, authorities released Osman from jail before prosecutors could arrange a bail hearing. Police booked him on second-degree assault charges the night of the incident, but he walked free while investigators continued their work. An arrest warrant was finally issued eleven days later on April 30. Prosecutors requested $200,000 bail, but Osman had already been released back onto Seattle streets.

Pattern of Lenient Treatment

The case highlights ongoing concerns about Seattle’s handling of violent offenders. Mayor Katie Wilson has criticized the release of surveillance footage showing such attacks. Meanwhile, both suspects involved in this brutal assault on a defenseless elderly man remain free—one never arrested, the other released despite facing serious charges. The victim’s injuries required hospitalization and weeks of recovery, yet the justice system failed to keep either attacker in custody.

  1. This is what Defund the Police and other stupid policies do. Will someone start to figure this out. Or stay ignorant. Hey judge. You are fired.

  2. Sad, but with no harsh punishment things like this will probably get worse and more frequent.

Whats up with our lax judicial system. Liberals maybe?
