I appreciate the comments made in this article, but let’s look at facts that aren’t mentioned including the total lack of customer service by these small businesses towards the public, their customers. Granted, the mess of Covid shut downs and masking rules and 6 foot distancing was stressful, very stressful, but I have never, nor will I ever go back to stores where I was abused by small store owners over masks, distances and the rest of the B.S. These small business owners had power, and boy, they loved to yield it. Since Covid, the prices have doubled, and boy don’t they love to shove the new prices down your throat. There’s no excuse for the rudeness and vicious treatment that small business owners have happily dished out. That is why no one is returning to their stores or to do business with them.
