Federal Judge Denies Trump’s Request for New Trial, Orders E. Jean Carroll to Pay $8.3 Million

11

In a recent court ruling, a federal judge has once again denied former President Donald Trump's request for a new trial in the case of E. Jean Carroll. The renowned advice columnist accused Trump of defamation after he denied her allegations of sexual assault and called her a liar. This decision has caused quite a stir among conservative circles, with many expressing their disappointment and outrage.

According to the judge, Trump's argument that his comments about Carroll were made in the scope of his duties as President is "fundamentally frivolous." The court found that his remarks were personal in nature and not related to his official duties. As a result, Trump's request for the U.S. Department of Justice to take over the case was also rejected.

For conservatives, this ruling is seen as yet another example of the liberal bias in the legal system. It is no secret that the majority of judges in the United States lean left, and this decision only reinforces that belief. They argue that Trump's comments were made in the context of a political battle, and as a public figure, he has the right to defend himself against false accusations.

Moreover, the hefty $8.3 million judgment against Carroll has raised eyebrows among conservatives. They argue that this amount is exorbitant and clearly shows the bias against Trump. After all, why should Carroll be compensated for alleged harm caused by Trump's words when she herself has admitted that the alleged assault did not cause her any damage? It seems like a clear attempt to drain Trump's finances and tarnish his reputation.

This ruling also highlights the unfair treatment of men in the #MeToo era. As seen in other high-profile cases, such as that of Justice Brett Kavanaugh, men are often automatically presumed guilty in cases of sexual assault, with little to no evidence. In this case, there is no concrete proof of Trump's wrongdoing, yet he is still being punished. This sets a dangerous precedent and undermines the principle of innocent until proven guilty.

Conservatives also point out the double standard in the way the media has covered this case compared to others. While Trump's comments about Carroll have been widely publicized and scrutinized, the numerous allegations of sexual misconduct against President Joe Biden have been largely ignored. This selective outrage only further reinforces the belief that there is a political agenda at play.

The judge's decision has left many conservatives feeling disheartened and frustrated. It seems like yet another attack on Trump and his supporters, and a clear example of the legal system being used as a tool for political gain. Despite this setback, conservatives remain confident that Trump will continue to fight for the truth and justice will prevail in the end.

In conclusion, the federal judge's ruling against Trump and in favor of E. Jean Carroll has caused an uproar among conservatives. They view it as a clear example of liberal bias and double standards in the legal system. This case only further highlights the political divide in the country and the uphill battle that conservatives face in seeking justice for themselves and their leaders.

  1. Can anyone explain why a judge with any amount of common sense allow the person being sued is not allowed to present his case before the so call jury. Especially in NYC where most of the people are Democrats. Have they ever realized how many people work for the Trump enterprise and the possibility of them losing their jobs. If I owned the Trump Business I would certainly be moving out of NYC and stop doing business with this state.

  2. I’m confused. Headline and article say the judgement is against her, not him, but also says it’s bad news for him. Which is it?

    • That’s exactly what I saw right off the bat. Also, there’s the discrepancy between the 83 million and 8.3 million. Who the editor and chief of this publication. Perhaps the editor should proof-read submitted articles 2 or 3 times before they all look like fools.

    • 8.3 million legal fees to EJean Carroll
Personally I think it’s a farce a lie. Why wait 23 years to claim such an absurd claim and she doesn’t even remember the date. That sounds fishy to me. Why didn’t she say something when it or if it happend!
I think she’s lying and it’s all a sham to get Trump. Vote Trump. Best President Ever !!!

      • I definitely agree with you. No woman who suffers the trauma of rape would forget the date it happened.
        E. Carroll could not even recall the year! Her story has more holes in it than the jying witch that claimed Kavanagh raped her.
It5 a terrible shame that women like her and biased judges get away with it, Their blatant abuse of the Judicial System makes it wven more difficult for actual rape victims to summon the courage to seek justice.

  3. There was absolutely no objective evidence supporting the verdict, and the
amount is outrageous. As Carroll herself admitted no damages, one dollar should
    have been awarded plus costs.

  4. I’m confused. Who has to pay $8.3 million. The headline says “Federal Judge Denies Trump’s Request for New Trial, Orders E. Jean Carroll to Pay $8.3 Million.” But conservatives are angry about the amount saying it’s “exorbitant”. That would make it look like Trump has to pay the $8.3 million.

  5. The Republicans need to bring Tara Reed, the woman that accused Biden of sexual assault, to the forefront, investigate that case and sue him! Fair is fair. These charges against Trump are bogus & election interference!

  6. Total bs. 23 years ago. The bitch is crazy… just check her social media and her cat fetishes. Biden and all the demonrats need to die now!!!! And if you voted for this shit show themn you need to kill yourself….TWICE!!!!!!!!
