Ukraine’s Counter-Attack Throws Russian Invaders Back to Russia

The audacious defenders of Ukraine managed to rout the atrocious invaders from Russia.

Ukrainians are liberating a key area around the city of Kharkiv and pushing Russians back into Russia in a major development from the latest battles in Eastern Ukraine.

Liberation around Ukraine’s Second Largest City

Kharkiv is Ukraine’s second-largest and second most important city, with a population of 1.6 million people.

The heroic defense of Kharkiv has been a case in hand. It shows Russian attempts to storm and conquer it remaining futile, in spite of the numerous war crimes they committed there by constantly bombing civilian buildings.

As of May 11, however, while it is still under severe threat, Kharkiv isn’t even partly besieged anymore.

The Ukrainian counter-offensive there liberated several villages around the city. It has practically kicked out the Russian troops in the region back to their homeland.

Russians have been trying to stage a massive offensive.

Many troops are suffering from very low morale and even killing themselves to find a fatal way out of the horrors of the war started by Putin and his murderous, corrupt regime.

Ukraine Now Threatening Key Russian Supply Lines

The Donbass region is located to the south of the city of Kharkiv.

It is the current routing of the Russian troops around the second-largest Ukrainian city that is now severely threatening the north-south supply route of the Russians.

The route goes from Belgorod, east of the Ukrainian border, through the Russian-occupied city of Vovchansk, and south into the Donbass.

Ukrainians have now managed to put Vovchanks within the range of their artillery; they are seeking to break the already problematic Russian supply lines.

The latest updates as of Wednesday afternoon put the Ukrainian troops within 10 miles from the highway and railroad hub in Vovchansk that has been used by the Russians.

There are reports from Ukrainian military experts, thinking Putin’s commanders are considering diverting from deficient, insufficient forces they have in Donbass back around Kharkiv, just for the sake of preserving that supply route.

Extremely severe fighting continues to rage in the region of the cities of Izyum and Severodonetsk in the Donbass region, with Ukrainians successfully holding their ground and resisting the Russian advances there.

So far, the Ukrainian military in Donbass has been able to frustrate the attempts of the Putin hordes to “envelop” them by cutting southwest from Izyum.

Ukrainian successes in the north of the eastern frontier region now pose the still distant perspective of a Ukrainian enveloping maneuver straight out of the Russians’ old Soviet-style warfare playbook.

However, in his Tuesday night’s address, Ukraine’s courageous President Volodymyr Zelenskyy urged the nation to be cautious.

He emphasized the victory in the war and even major tactical wins are likely still far into the future. The Russian military remains powerful, regardless of all the humiliating losses it has suffered so far.
