President Donald Trump shared an opinion article stating he would have the FBI raid the homes of the Obamas and the Clintons if he wins back the presidency in 2024.
Republicans Will Use Law Enforcement to Get Back at Democrats
Trump’s home, the Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida, was recently raided by more than 30 federal agents in utmost secrecy.
Nearly two weeks later, there is no clarity on the raid. Biden’s Justice Department, led by Attorney General Merrick Garland, keeps refusing to make public the warrant for the raid.
Lawyers warned Trump may be sentenced for mishandling government documents, which would mean he would be banned from holding any public office.
Trump has been using his social media site, Truth Social, in order to lambast the FBI raid and the Biden administration behind it.
His latest reaction, however, has been highly curious and probably can be considered quite telling.
He shared an op-ed from The Wall Street Journal written by a staunchly conservative journalist, seemingly signaling he agrees in full with the contents of the article. The op-ed suggested the Obamas and the Clintons may see their homes raided by the feds.

‘Payback Will Be Brutal’
Public opinion polls have suggested the FBI raid on Trump’s home may have backfired and boosted his popularity and leadership within the Republican Party.
However, his sharing of the Wall Street Journal op-ed may indicate Trump plans to capitalize on having been targeted by law enforcement on the watch of the Biden administration.
The op-ed article’s title states the “payback” for the Mar-a-Lago raid “will be brutal” and Trump sent it out in an email from the Save America PAC.
The conservative journalist is categorical that the FBI raid is political and has broken existing norms on performing “sensitive” probes this close to elections.
She argues the raid could bring about retaliation against Democrats whenever Republicans take over the federal government.
The columnist notes that a “future” GOP-run Justice Department may start “raiding the homes” of top Democrat figures and former pro-Democrat intelligence officials.
Strassel also suggests what is described as the “political prosecution” of Trump may help propel him to a second term in the White House. As a future POTUS 47, he may be less “restrained” than he was as POTUS 45.
The conservative writer furthermore stressed the GOP promises to launch a probe into the highly suspicious dealings of the first son, Hunter Biden.
In her view – which is apparently supported by Trump himself – “payback” for the Democrats may not even have to wait until after the 2024 presidential election.
Instead, it could start after the 2022 midterms when the Republicans take over Congress or at least the House of Representatives.
Trump also shared online an article from The American Spectator which referred to the FBI as the “Fascist Bureau of Investigation.”
