The events of January 6, 2021 are over. They were tragic, certainly, particularly the loss of life of Trump supporter and veteran Ashli Babbitt.
Nonetheless, the Democrats and the American left have done their best to relive January 6 every day and turn it into the worst thing that ever happened in our history.
According to VP Kamala Harris, the January 6 protests are even comparable to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor.
Now, the court cases are winding their way through the system; those who protested and entered the Capitol on January 6 are being hit with sentencing.
The latest sentence has even some liberals raising their eyebrows in shock. This guy got hit hard for doing basically nothing.
Meet Richard Michetti
Richard Michetti went to the protests on January 6 from Pennsylvania. He’s a strong Trump supporter. He wanted to show his support for 45, as well as his belief the 2020 election had been robbed from Trump.
He didn’t riot or get involved in the violence of that day or clashes with police. He did enter the Capitol. He told officers they shouldn’t fight with protesters, since their salaries were paid by citizens’ taxes.
However, at one point he did shout at cops nearby and also “gesticulated” at them.
Michetti went home and got back to his life, but luck was not in his favor. What happened is that he argued with an ex-girlfriend and called her a “moron” because she thought the election hadn’t been stolen.
She angrily turned him in to authorities. Michetti was then charged with “obstructing” the electoral certification of that day. His court case has gone through the system and on Tuesday, a sentence was handed down.
Michetti has now been sentenced to nine months in federal jail and two years of supervised release. Yes, you read that right.

Turned in By His Ex
Michetti got turned in by his angry ex in February after she tipped off the FBI about him having participated in the J6 protests.
He walked around the Capitol, yelling about how the election had been stolen and how police should stop fighting with protesters.
He didn’t assault anyone, nor did he smash windows or force open doors. He was more of the second wave after the first rioters already rushed in.
He got pepper sprayed for shouting at the cops and police who were called on to testify against him weren’t even sure who he was and had no memory.
He was just a random Trump supporter who shouted a few angry things and walked past them. Now, he’s headed to federal prison for the better part of a year.

The Bottom Line
Liberal TV host Stephen Colbert’s staff broke into the Capitol and got no penalty. Michetti gets nine months because he’s on the wrong side.
Your standard carjacker or robber gets less time than him. This country is turning into a literal police state.
