The series of back-to-back failures on Joe Biden’s watch has led to profound consequences for the American public.
Because of Biden’s leadership and policies, inflation has been soaring, making everyday life drastically unaffordable for most Americans.
Retirement is getting more out of reach, while childcare is becoming more expensive and more difficult to come upon.
Biden talked about unifying America and building back better; yet, his presidency has entailed precisely the contrary.
This is why Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently tore into Biden during a speech at a Turning Point USA event, per Fox News.
DeSantis on Biden’s Failed Leadership
The Florida governor was very clear in his disapproval of how Biden’s leading the United States.
After wishing for the nation to make a quick recovery from having Biden as president, DeSantis warned that under Biden, human trafficking and sex trafficking have increased, along with illegal immigration and nationwide energy costs.

The Florida governor also pointed out the ways in which his state has codified parental rights in their kids’ education, along with safeguarding freedom amid battling COVID.
Later, DeSantis noted that a major “red wave” is coming in November, something that will take both Biden and his party by storm. Democrats have long stated that losing the midterms will pose serious threats to US democracy.
DeSantis 2024?
The Florida governor’s remarks before the Turning Point USA audience came as he’s had a long history of sparring with the Biden administration.
On multiple occasions, both the president and his aides have directly taken potshots at DeSantis, leading the Florida governor to return the favor.
Months ago, DeSantis responded to attacks from then-White House press secretary Jen Psaki by saying Psaki gets before the nation on a daily basis and lies through her teeth.
Despite the Biden Administration’s failing economic policies, last month, Florida’s unemployment rate dropped to 2.8%. Florida’s labor force increased by .4%, while the nation’s labor force declined by .2%.

Within the past several months, there’s been a lot of talk about whether or not DeSantis is going to run for president. Right now, DeSantis is up for re-election as governor; however, he has not explicitly ruled out a conceivable run for the White House.
If DeSantis were to run in 2024, he would likely find himself up against Biden. The current president has been very clear that he’s going to go for a second term, despite protests from his own party members.
At this moment, it remains to be seen whether or not the White House issues any sort of response to the criticisms from the Florida governor. After the midterms, Americans can also expect to learn more about who will run in the 2024 presidential election.
What do you think about the statements from Ron DeSantis during his Turning Point USA speech? Should he run for president in 2024? We look forward to reading your thoughts about this in the comments area.
