Since Joe Biden’s time as president, he’s continued having various issues while addressing the public and giving different speeches.
It’s not uncommon for the president to forget what he’s saying mid-sentence or simply string together nonsensical, indecipherable word salads.
This has now caused growing doubts about Biden’s cognitive fitness; even some Democrats are saying he shouldn’t run for a second term in 2024.
Unfortunately, these issues with Biden are becoming more common, rather than less frequent. On Friday, the president had another slip-up when he was speaking about women in society, as documented by Washington Examiner.
The Latest Embarrassment For Biden
On Friday, the president signed an executive order concerning contraception and abortion access in response to the Supreme Court’s topple of Roe v. Wade. Yet, when speaking about this order and about women’s rights, Biden quickly slipped up.
Amid talking about women who vote and have political power, the president read a line from his teleprompter that said “repeat the line.” Biden then did, in fact, repeat what he said before reading the directions from the teleprompter; although, the former went viral.

Behind the president as he gave this speech was Vice President Kamala Harris and another official. Both kept straight faces as the president clearly read the instructions from the teleprompter.
As the mess-up went viral on social media, people lambasted the president, stating he’s not all there mentally. This latest incident with the teleprompter comes as Biden’s already been spotted with flashcards while addressing the general public and reporters.
Staunch Denial From the White House
It didn’t take long for the Biden administration to realize Americans were talking about the president’s faux pas. This led to the administration claiming that what Biden really said was “let me repeat the line.”
Needless to say, this is just objectively not true. The video of Biden’s speech on Friday went viral; at no time did he utter the words “let me” before saying “repeat the line.”
White House transcript of Biden remarks is now incorrectly aligned with what this WH assistant press secretary falsely claimed on Twitter, despite the video showing Biden clearly stating “End of quote. Repeat the line.” & *not* “Let me repeat the line.”https://t.co/fJrzgfdbEy https://t.co/GX3zftIEtB pic.twitter.com/snrRHnHRIr

The White House’s insistence otherwise is yet another example of its lying to the American public. Just on Thursday, press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declared the current US economy is the most robust its been in history.
Amazingly, the White House even went as far as to post the official transcript on its website with “let me repeat the line” as a replacement for Biden saying “repeat the line.”
Despite the Biden administration’s best work, Americans aren’t going to forget this latest teleprompter mess-up from the president anytime soon.
